The Wildlife Sanctuary operates 7 days a week as a wildlife hospital for injured and orphaned wildlife. The facility relies mainly on your donations to support the care of the wonderful animals in need of a second chance Everyone Welcome! Enjoy shopping for wildlife gifts and tee shirts; listen to live music; buy native plants and trees at our plant booth; feed the pelicans; have the children learn about native animals at our two puppet shows; sodas and bake sale items will be available for sale so plan to buy some goodies as you visit with the resident birds of prey. Bring your cameras, bring your kids and bring your friends. You’ll see pelicans, fox, bald eagles, owls, bobcats, opossums, turtles, deer and much, much more. Special guests will be FL. Trail Association, UF/IFAS Santa Rosa County Sea Grant, FL Turtle Conservation Trust and Sweet Prospect Celtic Band. The public is invited to stroll around the grounds, meet some of our wild residents and attend our two puppet shows. Check out our gift shop, bake sale, plant sale, feed the pelicans booth, let the kids play wildlife games and see our birds of prey up close with their handlers, learn about area turtles and more. Bring your appetite for some homemade goodies that will be for sale. There will be many photo opportunities for everyone as well as environmental booths for groups of all ages.
