Emerald Coastkeeper Community Meeting

Thursday, January 27, 2011

From the Coastkeeper...
Join us for a community meeting on February 15th, 7pm at Ever'man Natural Foods, 315 West Garden Street, Pensacola. Mr. Christian Wagley will be giving an update on the Escambia County Land Development Code revisions. This meeting is free and open to the public, please help spread the word.
Also, Emerald Coastkeeper has updated our website. We have included a new Report Pollution tool which we hope will be another step toward swimmable, fishable, drinkable water in northwest Florida. Check it out here: http://www.emeraldcoastkeeper.org/
We are planning on offering some training sessions in the spring to help residents learn about local threats to water quality, reduce their impact to waterways, recognize threats to our waterways and drinking water and report those threats to officials. Classes will be free, offered on a variety of days/evening and space will be limited. If you think you might be interested and want to get on the list of participants send me an email.
